Toothache

The most common causes of toothache are:

  1. A Decayed tooth in which decay is deep and close to the nerve (pulp) of the tooth
  2. Trauma / Injury to a tooth or a particular part of the face
  3. Gum Infection / Swelling
  4. A tooth that has had a deep filling
  5. A tooth that have had a large silver amalgam filling
  6. A tooth that has had a crown
  7. Wisdom teeth erupting incorrectly
  8. And Many More…

We believe in the importance of early diagnosis and treatment to finding the origin/reason for the tooth pain.

Trauma / Injury to Teeth

Injuries are unexpected occurrences that can sometimes cause serious consequences. Trauma to any part of the face can occur as a result of falls/sports accidents.

Teeth can be cracked, chipped and fillings can fall out with or without a resultant tooth fracture.

Even though these teeth may not have problems even after being chipped or broken, they should be attended to immediately.

We will see you ASAP if you have any signs of trauma/injury to the teeth.

Swelling

Swelling around a particular tooth or any part of the face should be because of active infection and should not be left untreated.

We will see you ASAP if you have swelling around a particular tooth / any part of the face.

Tooth Extraction

Teeth damaged due to decay, trauma or any other cause which cannot be restored (fixed) are candidates that can cause infection and can harbor bacteria in and around them.

We recommend getting these teeth extracted (taken out) asap.

Wisdom Teeth

Wisdom teeth usually erupt in the late teens and are frequently a source of pain at the back of jaws/back teeth.

Mostly, these teeth don’t have any space in the jaws to erupt in proper positions and may require extractions.

We will see you ASAP if you have any wisdom tooth related problem.

We are highly trained in dealing with the extraction of these teeth, whether it be surgical or simple.

Broken / Cracked Tooth

Teeth can crack due to decay / large fillings.

Fillings can fall out with or without a resultant tooth fracture.

Even though these teeth may not have problems even after being chipped or broken – they should be attended to immediately.

The earlier these situations are addressed and attended, the more favourable the result.

We will see you ASAP if you have any injury to teeth or any part of the face.
